Bravecto Plus for Cats Bravecto Plus is a highly effective spot-on indicated for treating and controlling flea, flea infestations, and tick infestations (black-legged tick and Asian longhorned tick) in cats. The product kills the existing fleas and ticks within 24-48 hours, preventing further infestation. It is also used in Flea Allergy Dermatitis treatment strategy (FAD). Bravecto Plus, additionally, treats intestinal infections caused due to roundworms (Toxocara cati) and hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme). Furthermore, Bravecto Plus prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis for almost 8 weeks. Bravecto Plus for Cats contains two active ingredients - Fluralaner and Moxidectin that bind with the chloride channels which causes increased permeability of membranes of nematodes and arthropod cells. This in turn leads to hyperpolarization, paralysis and death of the worms. The topical treatment covers wide range of parasites and protects cats against harmful diseases.
