Aceptor (benazepril hydrochloride) is a Sava Vet veterinary medication used to treat heart failure (DCM, MMVD), hypertension, and chronic kidney disease in dogs and cats. It functions as an ACE-inhibitor to relax blood vessels. Available in 2.5mg, 5mg, and 10mg, it is usually given orally once daily. Uses: Primarily for congestive heart failure and chronic kidney disease (CKD) to reduce protein loss. Administration: Often available as chewable, palatable tablets, which can be given with or without food. Aceptor 2.5mg: Often used for smaller dogs and cats.
